Draft your fantasy basketball team based on how long you expect specific NBA teams and players to last in each round, and gain an edge on the other users in your pool. Fantasy Basketball Playoff Challenge Games

Fantasy basketball challenge games will run in each of two ways: Daily & Playoff Long. Our daily games will run when there are at least three games on the schedule for the basketball playoffs. You will simply need to pick who you think will perform the best on that given day and fulfill the roster requirements.

The playoff-long fantasy basketball challenge will require you to select a team while keeping in mind who you think will make it to the NBA Finals, who will play the most games and who will score the most points. This game will take much more thinking and skill regarding the teams in the playoffs.

Fantasy Basketball Playoff Rules

Our Fantasy Basketball Playoffs game is a round-by-round game that begins with the first game of the specified round, and ends with the final game of that round. This contest will match players from the upcoming NBA Draft against one another with owners selecting who they think will be selected before the other. Basketball Draft Pick’em Game – How to Play

Each matchup will present you with two options. In other words, you’ll get to choose from two players in the NBA Draft. You must select one player from each pre-determined matchup by deciding who will be drafted higher than the other.

Example: Derrick Rose was drafted ahead of Michael Beasley in the 2008 draft. Derrick Rose would have received one point where Beasley would have received zero.

Basketball Draft Pick’em Scoring

The Basketball Draft Pick’Em Game makes it very easy to decide who wins. Simply make your selections and record more correct answers than your opponent and you win. One point is awarded for every correct answer in the contest.

Basketball Draft Pick’em – Tiebreakers

In the event of a tie, we’ll determine the winner by subtracting the selected player’s overall selection from their opponent’s overall selection. We will only award points for selecting the correct player. If you do not choose the correct player you will be given zero points for that matchup.

Example: Derrick Williams is selected 4th overall and Kyrie Irving is selected 1st overall. If Irving was your selection, you would receive 3 points for that matchup toward a tiebreaker.

Fantasy Poker NBC Game

Fantasy poker is a niche sport that Fantazzle is committed to keep developing and be a pioneer in the space. Fantasy poker games are similar to fantasy sports games with the exception of using poker tournaments as the sporting event and poker players as the choices to create your fantasy team. In 2010, Fantazzle was one of the first (or THE first) fantasy games site to offer a fantasy game for poker using the World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event as the setting. In 2011, we plan to continue the WSOP fantasy game, but before that we are happy to announce a new tournament and a new fantasy poker game format to the ranks.

Play Fantasy Poker Bracket Game

How do you play fantasy poker? Or more specifically, how do you play the fantasy poker bracket game? It’s actually quite easy. If you have ever filled out a March Madness bracket, the game is the same because the National Heads Up Championship is the exact same format (with the exception of a best of three championship match) with only slight differences like random seeding. There are 64 players who will each be matched up in a 64 slot bracket. Each match will consist of a single elimination advancement for the winner of the No Limit heads up poker match. That will continue all the way to the championship. The only difference from March Madness bracket tournaments for NCAA basketball is that the championship is also single elimination to determine the champion. In the National Heads Up Championship, the champion will need to win the best-of-three to be crowned champ. It’s really that easy. Fill out your bracket based on the player you believe will advance and be rewarded with points for your fantasy team selections.

Fantasy Poker Bracket Game Scoring

Just like our upcoming March Madness bracket scoring system, we will use the same fantasy scoring here. For every selection you choose correctly, you will receive points. Points will vary in value by round giving more weight to the later rounds. The winner of the fantasy poker game will be the team that gets the most points for their fantasy picks. Here’s the point system:
Round 1 – 1 point
Round 2 – 2 points
Round 3 – 3 points
Round 4 – 4 points
Round 5 – 5 points
Championship – 10 points

Later rounds receive higher points for correct picks making them more important. Of course to get these later round picks right and higher points, you better get your early round picks correct so you have a chance to get those points!

National Heads Up Poker Championship

The 2011 National Heads Up Poker Championship bracket tournament sponsored by GoDaddy.com will be held at Caesar’s Palace and aired on NBC from April to May and is in its seventh year of operation. It has quickly become one of the most popular poker game tournaments in that time and most attribute that to the bracket game structure plus it was one of the first poker tournaments to be broadcast on a national network, NBC (ESPN which broadcasts the World Series of Poker is not considered a major network). While the bracket game structure is very similar to March Madness playoff brackets, some differences include the seeding being randomly drawn and the players are put into the four major segments of the brackets which are referred to as spades, hearts, clubs, and diamonds bracket divisions. Advancement is single elimination until the championship where there is a best out of three determination used to crown the champion of the bracket and the National Heads Up Poker title. Past winners include Annie Duke, Chris Ferguson, Huck Seed, Phil Helmuth, Paul Wasicka, and Ted Forrest. Just like Fantazzle which is a skill game site which allows players entry to games with an entry fee, the National Heads Up Poker Championship acts the same where each poker player enters with their own money ($25,000) to compete for cash prizes. These players believe they have the right skills to win the game, the question is do you? Try out the fantasy skill game and use your knowledge of the participants to win your bracket and the bragging rights that naturally come with it! Enjoy this fantasy poker game and stick with Fantazzle as it continues to lead the fantasy games industry in innovative skill games for its players.

Fantazzle will be offering several games throughout different fantasy sport seasons that will offer various prizes. We have offered our SuperStakes Contests that have had limited fields with a different payout structure than what we typically offer.

During the fantasy football playoffs Fantazzle offered several different leagues including: $11, $50, & $100 entry fee limited field leagues. Also, we decided to play around with the league sizes a little and came up with a few unlimited entry leagues for the fantasy football playoffs. Summer Madness

World Cup Bracket game is very similar to the March Madness brackets. The only difference in the format is during the group play. Group play lasts two weeks, as the eight groups (A-H) each have a round-robin tournament. The top two teams from each group advance after the group play stage. For the Bracket game, you have to pick which two teams from each group you think will advance. After the group stage, the tournament will have 16 teams and turns into a single-elimination tournament. The World Cup Sweet 16 will turn into the Elite 8, and then a World Cup final four will take place. The World Cup ranks the Top 3 teams. Before the championship match on July 11, a third place game will take place as the losers of the semi-final games will play each other.

Fantazzle will award the following prizes.

1st Place – $700
2nd Place – $150
Most Friend Referrals – $100 (they must have confirmed their email)
Most FanStock Points – $50

World Cup Bracket Scoring

Our scoring is similar to what you will find in NCAA March Madness Tournament brackets. You receive points for each winning team that you successfully pick right. During pool play, you earn a point if you correctly pick the teams that move onto the round of 16.
Note: You receive 1 point if your teams make it to the next round, but in order to receive points for any further rounds, you must select the teams in the correct 1st and 2nd place order. If that team advances to the Round of 16 you receive a point.

For each friend that you refer to Fantazzle that signs up, you earn one point that goes towards the total standings. Your friend must confirm their email address and there is a maximum of 100 points that can be earned.

For more info on scoring visit our World Cup Bracket details page.

Note: You receive 1 point in the 1st round ONLY if you choose the teams in the right order. In round 1 each team plays once against the three teams in their group. The team with the best record in those games advances as the 1st place team. The same applies to the second place team. If there is a tie, the tie-breaker is the goal difference: Goals For (GF) – Goals Against (GA)

Additional 2010 World Cup Info

You are able to edit your bracket up until the first World Cup game starts on June 11. Brackets are locked after the tournament starts and no changes can be made to your bracket. Earn more points by referring friends to Fantazzle. For each friend that you refer and signs up at Fantazzle, you earn one point to the Bracket game.

The team that accumulates the most points at the end of the month-long tournament wins the prize.

Fantasy Racing Pick’em Game

Fantazzle is proud to offer its unique fantasy contest: the Fantasy Racing Pick’em game. It varies from most fantasy racing games available today on Fantazzle or any other website in that instead of creating a straight forward fantasy team consisting of drivers you choose from a pool, you are choosing drivers in a shootout or versus fashion. To play the Fantasy Racing Pick’em game all you have to do is create your fantasy team by answering a series of questions asking which of two drivers will finish first. It’s that easy.

Fantasy Racing Pick’em Overview

Pick’em games can be found on the Play Fantasy Racing Games page a few days prior to the race. There are no season or segment racing pick’em games (of course, you can always play the fantasy racing salary cap and challenge game in these durations).

Each game will consist of ten questions where you, the player, must choose from two drivers. You will be asked:

Which of these two drivers will finish BEFORE the other? Driver A or Driver B.

Once you answer all questions, you will have just assembled your fantasy racing team for that race. Pretty easy eh? And quite entertaining as well.

The fantasy team who has the best team is the winner. To determine what team is the best, here is how the standings are compiled:

1. Count the number of selections you got correct (1 pt for each correct selection). If your driver finished BEFORE the other driver he was pitted against, you get 1 point. If the driver finished AFTER, you get 0 points. There are usually about ten possible points so if you got ten points that means your fantasy team consisted of perfect selections.

2. If there is a tie after the selections are counted, standings will be determined by the total fantasy points your team earned. Fantasy points are the points earned by the driver in our regular fantasy racing scoring system (see below). Whoever has the most total fantasy points will be crowned the winner.

3. If there is still a tie, cash prizes will be split evenly amongst the winners.

Always send in any comments/questions/concerns you have and we will answer your email ASAP.

Fantasy Racing Scoring

Remember, in Fantasy Racing Pick’em, the standings are first determined by who got the most correct selections from the ten matchups. If someone has more correct than all other teams, that player will be the winner. If there is a tie, the following standard fantasy racing scoring will be used as the tie-breaker.
