Fantazzle offers two fantasy baseball games for the MLB playoffs - Fantasy Baseball Playoff Series. The Fantasy Baseball Playoff Challenge game is played exactly like our regular Fantasy Baseball Challenge game, except it runs for the entire playoffs. The Fantasy Baseball Playoff Series game is available at the start of each series throughout the MLB Playoffs, and is played under our challenge game format as well.
This setup gives the user a unique opportunity to choose whether you'd like to pick a new team on a weekly basis, or one team that is yours to follow throughout each round of the playoffs (or both)! Each game offers players the chance to win cash prizes by using their fantasy skills and knowledge. All cash prizes are awarded as soon as the last pitch is thrown.
Our Fantasy Baseball Playoff Challenge game is played exactly like our regular season Fantasy Baseball Challenge game, but is only offered once during the MLB Playoffs. To play the playoff challenge game, you must register and submit a lineup before the first game of the playoffs. The playoff challenge format is quite simple. You select players from the standard offensive roster spots (1 C, 1 1B, 1 2B, 1 3B, 1 SS, and 3 OF) and follow them throughout the extent of the MLB Playoffs.
Your player selections are final for the extent of the MLB Playoffs, so what this means is if any of your players' teams are eliminated, (or get injured), they will not be producing any fantasy output for you. Players who are eliminated from the playoffs early are essentially dead weight on your roster for the remaining series, so choose your fantasy roster wisely!
The key to the playoff challenge game is to determine which is more important:individual talent or team longevity throughout the playoffs. If your fantasy baseball team scores the most fantasy points, you are the winner and will be awarded the designated cash prize!
Our Fantasy Baseball Playoff Series game is a round-by-round game salary cap game that tests your fantasy baseball skills and knowledge by using a roster made up of offensive players (no pitchers). With this setup, Fantazzle is able to provide the user with three separate games (rounds) -AL NL Divisional Series, AL & NL Championship Series, and the World Series.
To play this salary cap game, you must register and submit a lineup before the first game of the series. However, unlike our challenge game, if you miss out on the first round, you still have two more rounds to get into the fantasy playoff action!
The salary cap format is a unique take on the traditional fantasy baseball game, as it challenges your fantasy knowledge and takes significant strategic player selections in order to be crowned the champion. We start you off with a $1,000,000 fantasy budget to spend on your standard roster spots (1 C, 1 1B, 1 2B, 1 3B, 1 SS, and 3 OF). Your player selections are yours to keep, but only for the extent of the series. What this means is that if a team your players are on is eliminated from the playoffs early (or one of your players gets injured), you can draft a new team in the following series, so don't be afraid to take some risks!
The key to this salary cap game is to find the right fantasy sleepers, while also selecting as many stud fantasy players as possible. If your fantasy baseball team scores the most fantasy points, you are the winner and will be awarded the designated prize at the end of your series!
All of Fantazzle's fantasy baseball games use the same scoring system:
All of Fantazzle's baseball games use the same rosters (no pitchers):
In order to sign up for fantasy baseball games, you must submit your team before the first baseball game of the fantasy contest begins. This is important, as after that game begins, your roster will be permanently locked. Once finished, you can sit back and enjoy your fantasy game by watching live scoring of your league - Account > Fantasy Baseball Games.
