Remember, our fantasy poker games are special games that run for certain tournaments. We are always open to suggestions so if you would like to see a World Series of Poker Fantasy Game for any given tournament let us know and we will do our best to oblige.

Fantasy Poker Challenge Requirements

  • Choose players to fill out the game's specific roster requirements (the number varies depending on the tournament)
  • Depending on the tournament setup, you'll be able to choose your players from all available players or players from specific pre-determined groups.
  • No matter the player pool setup or the number of players you are required to choose, you MUST have a full roster.
  • You cannot select the same player twice. If you do, the second player will receive an automatic ZERO (this will not result in disqualification).
  • Select your players based on who you think will last the longest for the specified tourney. The longer a player lasts, the better your team will do

Simply pick the best fantasy players according to your fantasy poker skills and knowledge, and fill out all the positions to complete your roster.

When entering a fantasy poker game make sure you read the game rules. Since each poker tournament is unique, there will be different scoring system used, but most will use one of two scoring methods. Generally, if there are 100 or less entrants, scoring is calculated as follows: (# of total entrants minus the player's finishing place) + 1. In addition, 1st place receives five bonus points and all players "in the money" receive one bonus point. This structure is very similar to fantasy NASCAR scoring.

For example, if a tournament has 48 players entered and the player you selected is knocked out first and finishes in 48th place, you will receive 1 point. The 47th place player receives 2 points, 46th place receives 3 points, etc. First place would receive 48 points for finishing first plus five bonus points for finishing in first place and one bonus point for finishing "in the money" for a total of 54 points. This scoring system will usually be used for smaller tournaments.

For larger tournaments which usually last several days, the following scoring method is used.

Survive Day One - $1,000
Survive Day Two - $3,000
Survive Day Three and Four - $8,000 (Note: All players who make it past Day Two who do not make the money will receive $8,000)
Make the Money – Players will receive the amount of cash that they receive for the actual tournament and making the money.

Please Note: If a player does not survive Day One (is eliminated on the first day) they do not receive any points.
