Fantasy Basketball Playoff Games

Fantasy Basketball Playoff games tests your abilities in managing a fantasy basketball team through each day, round and entirety of the NBA playoffs. This gives you an opportunity to draft a fantasy team for each desired duration of the NBA playoffs . You must create a fantasy team that consists of 2 Centers, 3 Guards, 3 Forwards, and 2 Utility players.

Deciding on your draft strategy is as important as ever with the Fantasy Basketball Playoff games. Target the players and teams who have the best chance of lasting the longest in each specified round. Fantasy Basketball Playoff Salary Cap Games

The round-by-round format for the Fantasy Basketball Playoff Salary Cap Games gives you the best chance for production out of your drafted team, while providing a playoff-like atmosphere. Draft your fantasy basketball team based on how long you expect specific NBA teams and players to last in each round, and gain an edge on the other users in your pool. Like all of our fantasy games at Fantazzle, there is no commitment to play and you can play as little or as often as you wish.

Fantasy Basketball Playoff Challenge Games

Fantasy basketball challenge games will run in each of two ways: Daily & Playoff Long. Our daily games will run when there are at least three games on the schedule for the basketball playoffs. You will simply need to pick who you think will perform the best on that given day and fulfill the roster requirements.

The playoff-long fantasy basketball challenge will require you to select a team while keeping in mind who you think will make it to the NBA Finals, who will play the most games and who will score the most points. This game will take much more thinking and skill regarding the teams in the playoffs.

Fantasy Basketball Playoff Rules

Our Fantasy Basketball Playoffs game is a round-by-round game that begins with the first game of the specified round, and ends with the final game of that round. Immediately when the game begins, you will be sent an email with your opponent’s lineup, and also have the ability to view free live scoring during all of the games.

Fantasy Basketball roster requirements:

  • 2 Centers
  • 3 Guards
  • 3 Forwards
  • 2 Utility Players (any position)

Each player has a set designated salary, and you can spend up to $1,000,000 to create your team. Every position must be filled for your fantasy team before you can submit your team, and you must also remain under the salary cap allowed.

FANTASY FOOTBALL IS NOT A WORKPLACE DISTRACTION

Fantasy Football has become a cultural phenomenon in the last decade, but the rise of fantasy football has been accompanied by questions concerning its effects on the workplace, the home, society at large and the economy.

During the last few years numerous research articles have all attempted to quantify the economic effects–both positive and negative–of fantasy football. Various reports have estimated that fantasy football is a boon to the U.S. economy of more than $4 billion. But conflicting reports have suggested that the distraction it causes in the workplace could cost businesses and the economy more than $10.5 billion annually. So which is the truth?

Fantazzle, through its commitment to thought leadership in the fantasy sports industry, has collected all the contradictory and competing information put forth by journalists, researchers and consulting firms over the last five years to perform a comprehensive review of the veracity of the conflicting reports. Fantazzle made every effort to definitively conclude whether or not fantasy football actually constitutes a distraction in the workplace and a drag on the U.S. economy. After combining economic statistics with numerous surveys and even some neuroscientific research, Fantazzle was able to conclude that fantasy football has never been a drag on workplace productivity nor a drag on the economy and, in fact, might directly assist both firms and the economy.

Due to the assembled facts, Fantazzle stands by its concluding recommendation that if a company is in search of greater productivity then management should strive to foster a trusting environment free of Big Brother-like overseers. Our white paper concludes that company-wide bans on fantasy football sites should be discouraged and that companies should trust company managers to use discretionary judgment as to why any individual worker’s productivity has suffered. But more than that, continuing research is beginning to show that fantasy football encourages office camaraderie which means that fantasy football should be considered as a viable supplement or replacement to other human resources-themed team-building activities.

Firms that follow these guidelines are likely to experience an uptick in employee productivity, while those that continue to put stock in earlier, false reports claiming fantasy football is a drag on employee productivity will likely cost themselves the very productivity they’re trying to save.

Basketball Draft Pick’em

Fantazzle’s Basketball Draft Pick’Em game is a unique way to play fantasy basketball, and brings even more uniqueness to the one of a kind game. This contest will match players from the upcoming NBA Draft against one another with owners selecting who they think will be selected before the other. It is important to do your research on team needs and who is drafting in which slot. Record more correct selections than your opponent and you win. It’s as simple as 1-2-3.

Basketball Draft Pick’em Game – How to Play

Each matchup will present you with two options. In other words, you’ll get to choose from two players in the NBA Draft. You must select one player from each pre-determined matchup by deciding who will be drafted higher than the other.

Example: Derrick Rose was drafted ahead of Michael Beasley in the 2008 draft. Derrick Rose would have received one point where Beasley would have received zero.

Basketball Draft Pick’em Scoring

The Basketball Draft Pick’Em Game makes it very easy to decide who wins. Simply make your selections and record more correct answers than your opponent and you win. One point is awarded for every correct answer in the contest.

Basketball Draft Pick’em – Tiebreakers

In the event of a tie, we’ll determine the winner by subtracting the selected player’s overall selection from their opponent’s overall selection. We will only award points for selecting the correct player. If you do not choose the correct player you will be given zero points for that matchup.

Example: Derrick Williams is selected 4th overall and Kyrie Irving is selected 1st overall. If Irving was your selection, you would receive 3 points for that matchup toward a tiebreaker.

Play Basketball Draft Pick’em Game

Step 1: Select the Basketball Draft Pick’em Game, entry fee, and league size.

Step 2: Select the player in each game matchup that will drafted higher.

Step 3: Confirm your fantasy selections.

Fantasy Poker NBC Game

Fantasy poker is a niche sport that Fantazzle is committed to keep developing and be a pioneer in the space. Fantasy poker games are similar to fantasy sports games with the exception of using poker tournaments as the sporting event and poker players as the choices to create your fantasy team. In 2010, Fantazzle was one of the first (or THE first) fantasy games site to offer a fantasy game for poker using the World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event as the setting. In 2011, we plan to continue the WSOP fantasy game, but before that we are happy to announce a new tournament and a new fantasy poker game format to the ranks.

Fantasy Poker Bracket Game

Fantazzle is starting the 2011 Fantasy Poker season with a fantasy poker bracket game developed for the 2011 National Heads Up Championship. This tournament shown on NBC and sponsored by GoDaddy.com will be held at Caesar’s Palace from March 4th to March 6th. Results will be known after it is over, but it won’t be officially aired until April. Don’t worry, all winners will receive their cash prizes for the fantasy poker games as soon as Sunday night.

Fantazzle is happy to announce a free game for the event with a small cash prize and several pay to play entry fee options where the real cash can be won. Enter anywhere from $5 to $500 to play against league sizes of 2 to 5 players. If you are new to the fantasy site, make sure to take full advantage of our first-time deposit bonus where you can receive up to $200 in FREE cash to use as entry fees in any fantasy sport game we offer from football to baseball to racing, we have the best daily fantasy game and weekly fantasy game options in the fantasy sports industry.

Entry fee Fantasy Poker National Heads Up Game – buy-ins range from $1 to $500 with league sizes from two players to ten players (as a special rate for this fantasy poker event we will be charging a VERY low game fee).

Play Fantasy Poker Bracket Game

How do you play fantasy poker? Or more specifically, how do you play the fantasy poker bracket game? It’s actually quite easy. If you have ever filled out a March Madness bracket, the game is the same because the National Heads Up Championship is the exact same format (with the exception of a best of three championship match) with only slight differences like random seeding. There are 64 players who will each be matched up in a 64 slot bracket. Each match will consist of a single elimination advancement for the winner of the No Limit heads up poker match. That will continue all the way to the championship. The only difference from March Madness bracket tournaments for NCAA basketball is that the championship is also single elimination to determine the champion. In the National Heads Up Championship, the champion will need to win the best-of-three to be crowned champ. It’s really that easy. Fill out your bracket based on the player you believe will advance and be rewarded with points for your fantasy team selections.

Fantasy Poker Bracket Game Scoring

Just like our upcoming March Madness bracket scoring system, we will use the same fantasy scoring here. For every selection you choose correctly, you will receive points. Points will vary in value by round giving more weight to the later rounds. The winner of the fantasy poker game will be the team that gets the most points for their fantasy picks. Here’s the point system:
Round 1 – 1 point
Round 2 – 2 points
Round 3 – 3 points
Round 4 – 4 points
Round 5 – 5 points
Championship – 10 points

Later rounds receive higher points for correct picks making them more important. Of course to get these later round picks right and higher points, you better get your early round picks correct so you have a chance to get those points!

National Heads Up Poker Championship

The 2011 National Heads Up Poker Championship bracket tournament sponsored by GoDaddy.com will be held at Caesar’s Palace and aired on NBC from April to May and is in its seventh year of operation. It has quickly become one of the most popular poker game tournaments in that time and most attribute that to the bracket game structure plus it was one of the first poker tournaments to be broadcast on a national network, NBC (ESPN which broadcasts the World Series of Poker is not considered a major network). While the bracket game structure is very similar to March Madness playoff brackets, some differences include the seeding being randomly drawn and the players are put into the four major segments of the brackets which are referred to as spades, hearts, clubs, and diamonds bracket divisions. Advancement is single elimination until the championship where there is a best out of three determination used to crown the champion of the bracket and the National Heads Up Poker title. Past winners include Annie Duke, Chris Ferguson, Huck Seed, Phil Helmuth, Paul Wasicka, and Ted Forrest. Just like Fantazzle which is a skill game site which allows players entry to games with an entry fee, the National Heads Up Poker Championship acts the same where each poker player enters with their own money ($25,000) to compete for cash prizes. These players believe they have the right skills to win the game, the question is do you? Try out the fantasy skill game and use your knowledge of the participants to win your bracket and the bragging rights that naturally come with it! Enjoy this fantasy poker game and stick with Fantazzle as it continues to lead the fantasy games industry in innovative skill games for its players.

Select Hall of Fame by SPORT

Consider these rewards as a “GAME WITHIN A GAME.” Not only are you playing to win your league, but also competing to win additional cash prizes in our Hall of Fame. These are extra awards so there are certain qualifications you must meet in order to be awarded.

  • Free game entries will not show up on the Hall of Fame or qualify for any rewards.
  • Must play entry fee games $10 or more to qualify for any rewards given out. Records will still be posted, but you will not qualify for any monetary rewards.
  • Must have made at least one deposit during the sport season to qualify for monetary rewards (if you haven’t made a deposit yet, make one now during the redeposit bonus to get free cash).
  • If you qualify for the same reward multiple times, you only receive one reward (in the freeroll example, you make the field smaller and have a better chance to win the more times you qualify over someone else). Rewards do not bump down to the next eligible.
  • We will help notify players of their rewards, but they must be claimed within five days so PLEASE make sure to check here often so you don’t miss out. You can email support@fantazzle.com for any help. For the freeroll contest, you do not need to claim the reward. We will email you one week prior to the freeroll.
  • Tiebreakers for rewards will be in this order: 1) Player with the most friend referrals; 2) Player that has the most past HoF records w/in the same Game Type; 3) Player with the most Lifetime FanStock earned.
  • Any score discrepancy in the Hall of Fame and the live scoring page is due to modifications made by Sportsdatallc.com prior to finalizing game stats. We always use the final stats when we score games for winners.
  • Check any additional rules on our promotions page, rules page, and FAQ for cash promotions.

It is at our discretion to disqualify certain games from the Hall of Fame (due to something unusual). Thanks and send any comments and suggestions you may have.

Baseball Fantasy Hall of Fame

Fantazzle Fantasy Games is proud to offer the Hall of Fame for our fantasy baseball games. The Hall of Fame will keep track of the best players at Fantazzle. Here, you can take a look at who has scored the most points in the daily fantasy baseball games played each week. There will be a top ten shown for each week (Monday to Sunday) of the 2012 baseball season and a top ten for the season. In the future, we will show each year and keep track of the history of all scores ever recorded at Fantazzle plus add new Hall of Fame records. The Hall of Fame will pit members of our community – friends and foes – against each other for ultimate bragging rights.

Make sure you check back each week as the Hall of Fame is updated. Plus, we will be running weekly and monthly contests in the future so check back and check your emails for updates. Also, please take a moment to read the qualifications at the bottom of this page. Enjoy the Hall of Fame and look for it to only get better in the future!
